Requirements for publications

1. Content requirements:

1.1. The editors of the journal strongly recommend that when choosing the topic of the article to focus on the main directions of development of legal science.

1.2.

  • problem statement in general and its connection with important scientific and practical tasks;
  • analysis of recent research and publications, which initiated the solution of this problem and on which the author relies, highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which the article is devoted;
  • the purpose of the study (formulation of the goals of the article and setting the task; it is necessary to express the main idea of ​​the publication, which differs significantly from modern ideas about the problem);
  • presentation of the main research material with full justification of the obtained scientific results (it is necessary to express: the main provisions and results of scientific research, personal ideas, opinions, obtained scientific facts, revealed patterns, connections, trends, analysis of factual material, personal contribution to the achievement and implementation of conclusions);
  • research findings (which contain scientific novelty and (or) have important theoretical and (or) practical significance).

1.3. The scientific novelty of the research results should be characterized by the following features: rationality, validity, reliability, logical consistency, compliance with the fundamental principles of science.

2. Volume requirements:

2.1. The total volume of the scientific article (information about the author, title, annotation in Ukrainian, keywords in Ukrainian, text, list of used sources) should be 8-16 pages.

2.2. Abstract in English, keywords in English must consist of 1800 characters.

2.3. The total length of the review should not exceed 5 pages.

3. Requirements for design:

3.1. In order to increase the citation indices of our authors, the journal recommends submitting articles written in English or Ukrainian.

3.2. Articles in English, which are translated from Ukrainian or Russian, must be accompanied by text in the original language, drawn up in accordance with these requirements.

3.3. To the articles of graduate students, adjuncts and applicants it is necessary to add - the recommendation of the supervisor or the review of the person who has a scientific degree of doctor (candidate) of legal sciences, who is a specialist in the field of knowledge.

3.4. The article must contain:

  • name and surname author (s) and title of the article;
  • annotation;
  • highlight keywords and phrases (not less than 3, but not more than 8) in bold;
  • information about the author (s) (in full - surname, name, and patronymic, scientific degree, scientific title, position, place of work or study, city);
  • orcid.org author (s).

3.5. Before the title of the article, indicate the section in which it is desirable to publish it.

3.6. The text of the scientific article should be printed in a text editor MS Word (in rtf or doc format); line spacing 1.5; font Times New Roman 14th font. There should be no hyphens or macros in the text.

3.7. References to sources should be made in square brackets with the page numbers of the corresponding source, and the names of the sources should be given at the end of the text of the article in the order of mention. Each source from a new line.

3.8. Names and dates of adoption of laws and other regulations should be given in the text and not included in the bibliography.

3.9. In the text of the article to highlight in bold key terms, and in the font of the 12th font - examples from case law, semantic digressions, and so on.

3.10. The code for the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) must be indicated with right-aligned (abbreviated UDC tables in Ukrainian are available on the UDC website).

3.11. The title of the article should be given in bold capital letters with center alignment, without abbreviations, including letter abbreviations. The title of the article should reflect the content of the study and correspond to its purpose, scientific results and conclusions.

3.12. The text of the article should be presented in compliance with the content requirements.

3.13. The text of the article must comply with the general rules of citation and references to the sources used and the requirements of the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015 "Information and documentation. Bibliographic link. General provisions and rules of compilation".

4. Submission requirements:

4.1. To publish a scientific article that has not been previously published (placed) in other printed (electronic) publications, an e-mail version ([email protected]) must be sent to the electronic version (the file name must consist of the surname (s) of the author (s) and give a referral to the dedication marked "article"), in the subject of the letter indicate the article in the "DICTUM FACTUM", as well as the questionnaire of the author (co-authors):

4.2. The author (co-authors) must provide in electronic form in jpg or pdf quality color photo (quality color photos) (file name (files) should consist of the name (names) of the author (co-authors) and give a referral to the editors marked "photo").

5. The order of acceptance and consideration of articles:

5.1. The editorial office notifies the participant about the receipt of the article within three working days.

5.2. The editors of the journal are authorized to carry out scientific and literary editing of the received materials, if necessary to reduce them in agreement with the author, or to send the article for revision to the author.

5.3. The editors reserve the right to reject an article that does not meet the established requirements or topics of the journal. In case of rejection of the submitted article, the editors give the author a reasoned opinion.

 

The author (co-authors) is (are) responsible for the accuracy of the material presented, the latter belongs to him (them) personally and the quality of translation of quotations from foreign sources.

The journal accepts applications for advertising, as well as for special issues on current research topics.
