The article deals with the legal analysis of the concept of human trafficking as a socially dangerous phenomenon. The features of this crime are revealed and a historical analysis of legal acts on combating human trafficking in the international legal field is conducted.
Human trafficking or other unlawful transfer of human rights is one of the most egregious human rights abuses that are gaining public attention. Trafficking in human beings is now considered to be the third largest source of organized crime after drugs and weapons. Ukraine and the EU, as well as the entire international community, are working hard to comprehensively regulate the protection of victims of trafficking and the responsibility of traffickers.Human trafficking or other unlawful transfer of human rights is one of the most egregious human rights abuses that are gaining public attention. The modern science of criminal law of Ukraine is based on a series of works in which many aspects of this crime have been investigated (Ishchenko VA, AnishchukN., PA Vlasov, OV Polulyakhov, etc.). Despite the fact that the law provides forliability for the commission of this offense, trafficking in human beings as a crimecontinues to spread, gaining considerable social and dangerous character.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the legal and legal analysis of the methods of combating trafficking in human beings in the international community.
Trafficking in human beings - is for the purpose of exploitation or removal of organs or tissues, the recruitment, transportation, transfer, concealment, sale or receipt of a person by threat of force or its use or other forms of coercion, abduction, fraud, fraud, abuse of power or vulnerability, or by bribery, in the form of payments or benefits, to obtain the consent of the person controlling the other; a social phenomenon recognized as a crime in all countries of the world.
Every year more and more attention is paid to the problem of human trafficking in the international arena. This applies both to assistance to victims of trafficking in human beings and to the introduction of more rigorous methods of combating the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings or other unlawful transfers of human beings.
EU countries continue to improve and supplement their anti-trafficking legislation. Ukraine is now taking on international experience in combating trafficking in human beings, joining international organizations that pay close attention to this issue, and providing comprehensive assistance to victims of trafficking in human beings.
