STATE POLICY IN THE FIELD OF FORENSIC EXPERTISE OF UKRAINE: CURRENT TRENDS AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

The article examines the main principles and directions of the state policy of Ukraine in the field of forensic expertise. The problem of reforming the mechanisms of state management of forensic expertise in Ukraine is considered. The author emphasizes that since independence this area has become the subject of special attention of the state, which led to the adoption of a number of regulatory and legal acts of a programmatic and conceptual nature. Forensic expertise is recognized as an important, independent and independent institution that provides the evidentiary basis of justice.
The aspects of the formation of expert institutions, regulatory and legal support, modern challenges and prospects for development are considered. Special attention is paid to the issues of independence of experts, scientific and technical modernization and integration into the European legal space.
Forensic expertise is an important tool for ensuring the objectivity of the judicial process. It allows for scientifically sound conclusions that have evidentiary value. State policy in this area is aimed at creating an effective system of expert institutions, improving legislation and introducing modern technologies.
Since the declaration of independence of Ukraine, considerable attention has been paid to the problems of reforming state administration mechanisms in the field of forensic expertise. This has led to the adoption of a number of regulatory and legal acts of a programmatic and conceptual nature, which recognize forensic expertise as an important, independent and independent institution.
The tasks facing forensic experts in the context of reform require identifying ways to increase the efficiency of state regulation of forensic expertise, optimizing organizational and regulatory and legal principles, as well as improving management mechanisms in this area.
The multifaceted nature and scale of the problem necessitated its comprehensive study, taking into account the multi-vector nature of scientific research.
The authors emphasize that forensic expert activity is becoming an integral part of judicial proceedings and requires state regulation. The effectiveness of management depends on the combination of legal, organizational, and scientific-methodological foundations. Reforming the system of expert examinations will contribute to increasing public trust in justice and strengthening the rule of law.
