The article examines the role of digital technologies in the development and transformation of volunteering in Ukraine in the context of modern social challenges. It is substantiated that digitalization has become a key factor in increasing the efficiency, transparency and scalability of volunteer initiatives, especially during martial law. The main areas of use of digital tools in the volunteer sector are analyzed, in particular, online platforms for fundraising, social networks as a means of communication and resource mobilization, digital logistics systems, electronic registries, assistance coordination services and information and analytical tools. It is determined that the implementation of digital solutions contributes to the formation of new models of interaction between civil society, the state and business, which are based on the principles of openness, efficiency and horizontal communication. The advantages of digitalization of volunteering are outlined, including an increase in the level of trust through transparent reporting, the ability to quickly respond to crisis situations and expanding the geography of assistance. At the same time, attention is drawn to problematic aspects related to the protection of personal data, legal support for digital processes and the need to increase the digital competence of participants in volunteer activities.
The need to improve regulatory mechanisms for regulating digital volunteer activities, taking into account modern technological trends, is emphasized. It is concluded that digital technologies are not only a tool for optimizing volunteer work, but also a strategic resource for strengthening social cohesion and the stability of the state. Digital technologies ensure the formation of a single information space for interaction between volunteers, donors, recipients of assistance and public authorities.
